Letter of Endorsement for Richard O’Brien for National Director, Ancient Order of Hibernians

To the Delegates and Members of the Ancient Order of Hibernians,

It is my distinct honor and privilege to offer my wholehearted endorsement of Richard O’Brien for the position of National Director of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.

The role of National Director is one of tremendous responsibility. It requires a leader who understands the importance of organizational growth, strategic planning, and effective communication. Richard has consistently demonstrated these abilities throughout his years of service to the AOH.

As National Director, Richard will be a tireless advocate for organizational growth, working to recruit new members, expand the Order into new regions, and support the chartering of new divisions. He recognizes that the future strength of the AOH depends upon engaging the next generation of Hibernians while preserving the values and traditions that have sustained our Order for nearly two centuries.

Richard also possesses the experience and leadership necessary to contribute meaningfully to policy development and strategic planning. His thoughtful approach, sound judgment, and commitment to the mission of the AOH make him exceptionally qualified to serve on the National Board, helping to guide governance decisions and establish strategic goals that will strengthen our organization nationwide.

Equally important, Richard understands the critical role of communication and collaboration. As a liaison between national leadership and local divisions, he will ensure that information flows effectively throughout the organization and that all levels of the AOH remain united in purpose and mission. His ability to build relationships, listen to members, foster cooperation exemplifies the spirit of Friendship, Unity, and Christian Charity.

Richard O’Brien is a proven leader, a dedicated Hibernian, and a passionate advocate for our Order. He possesses the vision, integrity, and commitment necessary to serve as an outstanding National Director.
