Passing of James McLoughlin

James McLoughlin, 85, passed away Monday, March 4th, 2013 at his home in Piscataway. He was a Hibernian for 60 years and father-in-law to NJAOH President Sean Pender.

He was born in Wexford, Ireland and has lived in Piscataway for the past 54 years. James was a self-employed Carpenter and Refrigerator Maintenance Man. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Ancient Order of Hibernians. James was also an usher at St. John’s Church for many years.

Surviving is his wife of 57 years Bridget,1 son, James & wife Marianne of Piscataway, 5 daughters, Kathy & husband Ken of Pennington, Patty Fierro & husband Ray of Cedar Park, TX, Colleen Ridder & Philip of Readington, Gerri Teller & husband Andy of Ewing, Mary Pender & husband Sean of Yardville, 11 grandchildren, Jillian, Lindsay, Adam, Timmy, Stephen, Victoria, Olivia, Alexander, Morgan, Samantha, and Tadhg, & 1 sister, Mary Butler of Ireland. James is predeceased by his late grandson James McLoughlin, brother, Joe McLoughlin, and sister, Kay Hickey.

Visiting will be Friday, March 8th, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home, 233 Dunellen Ave., Dunellen.

AOH Wake service will be at 730PM Friday; AOH Members are asked to start to assemble at 715PM.

There will be a 10AM Mass of Christian Burial on Sat. at St. John’s Church, Dunellen. Internment Holy Redeemer Cemetery, So. Plainfield. Donations in Jame’s Name can be made to the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Somerset, NJ, and St. John’s Church, Dunellen, NJ
