NJAOH Members Among the Labor Top 50

The Irish Echo newspaper released their Irish Labor 50 to recognize the top 50 Irish individuals in the current labor movement. Several members of the NJAOH were among the honorees.

• President Kevin McCabe – United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America
• Thomas Tighe – Middlesex Co. Central Labor Council
• Charles (Chuddy) Whalen Plumbers & Pipefitter Local 9, Business Agent
• Tom Giblin – IUOE 68 Business Manager
• Wayne DeAngelo – Mercer Co. BCTC, President

The honorees were recognized at a dinner event at the South Street Seaport in New York. The event featured Gerry Adams as the guest speaker as well as many other prominent members of the Irish and Irish-American communities.
