In Memorandum George E. McNelia, Jr

GeorgeMcNeliaIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Burlington 1 member George E. McNelia, Jr. on July 31, 2013.

George E. McNelia, Jr., of Glendora, age 67.

Loving husband of Maureen (nee Crammer) and the late Patricia (nee Licata). Devoted father of George, III (Denise), Kimberly Vittorio (Michael) and the late Kevin Ross McNelia. Beloved grandfather of Tyler, Georgie, IV and Bella. Dear brother of Ronald McNelia.

George proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era, serving with Charlie Co. 3/60th 9th Infantry Division. He enjoyed attending his Army reunions each year and spending time with his Army “brothers”.

George is retired from Conrail R.R. after 32 years of service.

He was an avid golfer and member of Rancocas Woods Golf Course and an active member of Ancient Order of Hibernians of Gloucester County Division 1, the Commodore John Barry Division, where he was always the first to volunteer to help with anything (lawn needed mowing George showed up with his lawnmower).

George will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.

There will be visitation from 8 to 9:30am Saturday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

Funeral Mass 10am at Holy Child Parish, St. Teresa’s RC Church, Runnemede.

Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chews Landing.
