Historical Preservation of the New Jersey Hibernians & You

We are writing to inform you that history is in the making! By your very presence as an active member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, you are creating and perpetuating an invaluable legacy of faith and service that is centuries old. With this in mind, we are also looking forward in regard to the past. The need to preserve our material culture is vital so that details of our accomplishments can be shared with current and future generations of Hibernians and friends of the organization in the days ahead. Through the guidance of Brother Pender and the Board, we are presently working to build an archival network to conserve and share historical information among all divisions so research options can be centralized on a statewide level. Therefore, we welcome inquires about any aspect of the Ancient Order of Hibernians in New Jersey along with other specific Irish related topics that you may be curious about.

We are also accepting donations of relevant materials to help our efforts such as books, programs, journals, newspapers, flyers, photographs, announcements, commemorative artifacts, and minute or ledger books among other items. In addition, we can gladly aid with local history related endeavors including exhibits, speakers and other initiatives that celebrate our collective and invaluable history.
