Good Friday Agreement Symposium Event

The NJAOH was one of the main sponsors for the 15^th Anniversary speech on the Good Friday Agreement by Senator George Mitchell at Cooper Union in New York City on May 23. A number of Divisions were in attendance including Bergen 32, Mercer 1, Cape May 2, Hudson 1, Essex 9, Morris 1, and NJAOH Executive Board members including President Pender, VP Hughes and Treasurer Jockel. It was a fantastic night to hear Irish leaders like Sen. Mitchell, Congressman Neal and Crowley, Mark Thompson, Relatives for Justice, discuss some of the success from the Good Friday Agreement and what else needs to be done to see the agreement fully implemented.
