2013Burlington 1 News – Fall 2013
At the beginning of the school semester for 2013 Burlington 1 presented 40 backpacks filled with supplies needed to help children in two area parishes; St Ann’s in Pemberton and Sacred Heart’s St.Vincent DePaul Society in Mount Holly.
On September 14th Major Tommy McGuire Div.1 and the American Legion Post 294 in Pemberton hosted the Thomas G.Prendergast Memorial Golf Outing at Golden Pheasant Golf Course in Medford. This annual fundraiser was created to help local veterans and families in need.
On December 7th the division will be celebrating it’s 10th anniversary here in Burlington County. The Hibernians of Burlington County’s return as a chartered division in more than 50 years! We will be celebrating with an elegant dinner and honoring Major Thomas B. McGuire Jr.,Medal of Honor receipient.
