Bergen 32 Helps Family Rebuild After Flood

Volunteers from Bergen 32 who are working to help a local family rebuild after their home was ruined by flooding.

Bergen 32 Fr. Solanus Casey Division has “adopted” a family from New Milford, New Jersey in their efforts to rebuild after Hurricane Irene. The entire first floor of the home had to be gutted and rebuilt due to significant water damage and major health and safety concerns. Additionally, one of their children suffers from severe mental disabilities that have been compounded by the flood and subsequent construction.
