2015 NJAOH Convention Awards

The NJ State Board gives out several different awards at the convention. There are three that are mandated in the NJAOH bylaws; The Patrick Torphy Award, the Michael Curtin Award, and the McFall-Mullen Award.

The Patrick Torphy Award was presented to Jim Shaw for his work in supporting Catholic education. Jim runs the AOH Polar Plunge that has raised over $800,000 for Catholic schools and he recently chaired the effort to raise $1 Million to save Mater Dei.

Kevin Meara was presented with the Michael Curtin Award. Kevin runs a program that provides help and intervention for people suffering from drug and alcohol abuse.
